We welcome you to Cathedral Peak Wine Estate in the Spectacular Central Drakensberg where we make wines with a clear sense of place.

In 2007, we decided to take our passion for farming and blend it with our passion for wine, and planted the first 2 ha with Pinotage and Merlot. As farmers, we understand that we are just custodians of the soil and as farmers, we are obliged the feed to soil and nurture what grows in it. Our deeply rooted beliefs compel us to allow our vines to grow with vigour in the fertile soil and to enhance this expression of energy in the wine. We knew that this philosophy would be the way to make wines of distinction as nothing less would do. Living in the shadow of the Central Drakensberg is a privilege and we say thank you by producing wines with a clear sense of place.
